Watercolor Wreath with Flowers

Today we have a very special guest joining us – Linda Trace, owner of A Blog Named Hero! Linda is a great friend to Hero Arts, we’re thrilled to have her here.

Hi everyone, it’s Linda here and I’m beyond excited to be sharing a project with you on the Hero Arts blog today—what a dream come true!!

I’ve made a sweet spring-colored wreath card for you today using the new Hero Arts Stamp and Cut Flowers set, from the 2015 Spring Release.

When I was a young child, we always had lots and lots of books. Picture books, story books etc., and I have a memory of them being slightly odd in the coloring style. The illustrations were thick lined and the colors very bright and colorful, lovely to look at but not overly refined and technical looking. Sort of like this:

This Stamp and Cut Flowers set is so fun and the style of the flowers reminded me of those books.

I wanted to make a wreath since I’m slightly obsessed with them and I’ve been thinking about making one for our front door. This card perhaps is the easier version.

Find out how to maake this card — click for complete supplies and instructions.

I’ve made a video to go along with the card, so I hope you enjoy!

Thank you so much for stopping by and taking a look at my little card, I hope you liked it! See you again soon I hope.

And thank you, Linda, for sharing your card with us today!
