VIDEO: Snowy Christmas Light Up Scene

Today’s card is a fun one – it’s beautiful on its own, but there’s a super fun interactive element!

For today’s card, I started off by creating a background using the Star Confetti die as a stencil, and heat embossing a background using Versamark and Sparkle embossing powder on kraft cardstock.

I then stamped some Snowy Trees in Moss, Pine, and Forever Green, then added some “snow” using White Puff embossing powder. This powder is SO fun! I have a previous blog post HERE, where I share how you can achieve a “cleaner” snow look, and a more “natural” look.

I topped the trees off with some stars, also cut using the Star Confetti die, and placed them on freehand cut hills topped with some White Puff embossing powder. The sentiment was embossed in gold.

Now for the fun part! When you press the base of the forefront tree, the star lights up! To achieve this, I used the super fun and easy Chibitronic lights!

Even if you can’t do the light up part of the card, this card is still so pretty on its own! Thanks so much for stopping in today and God bless!
