Christmas cards. I think it’s a common dilemma amongst cardmakers – you want to send out cards with a special, homemade touch, but it takes a lot of time, and you don’t want the card to be boring, or to cost more to mail, etc, etc. I think that today’s card could be a nice solution to all those problems!
For today’s card, I kept things simple, yet interesting, with the help of some beautiful large woodblock stamps.
I inked up the gorgeous Joy to the World with Versamark, then Raspberry Jam, stamped, and heat embossed with some Sparkle embossing powder for some extra jazz. Then, I heat embossed the Holiday Floral Background around it, using White embossing powder, then die cut my frame using the Rectangle Infinity dies.
I topped off my card with some pearls, and bam! Done! If you wanted to make this card even quicker, you could skip heat embossing the sentiment, and to save on postage, skip the pearls or use less dimensional enamel dots.
I hope this card gives you a little inspiration for your own holiday card making! Thanks for stopping in!
