Hi! I’m popping in today to share a little more inspiration using the October 2015 My Monthly Hero kit – and to remind you that it will only be available for order for a little longer! Orders will close at midnight Sunday night, so if you love it, I recommend you get your hands on a kit ASAP, before it’s gone for good. (Visit this post to read why it’s still available!)
These tags and card truly came together in no time at all. For the card, I actually filled an entire sheet of 8.5″ x 11″ white paper with poinsettias, then cut it down into several panels. This is just one of at least four (actually even more with a different design!) I could make from that one stamped sheet. That makes for really quick and easy Christmas card production!
The tags were done in a similar production-line style. I cut a bunch of white squares of paper, and just stamped the poinsettia multiple times, once per square – I did all the squares with the base layer, then did all of the next layer, then all of the final layer. It made the stamping go very quickly, and having them each on a separate square made it simple to then send them through my die cutting machine.
I originally made these tags and card for the little introduction video for this month’s kit. Check it out if you haven’t already – I was trying to capture the fun and exicitement of receiving happy mail – but nonverbally. :-) (Jazz hands!) :-)
So the countdown is on… only another day until you can no longer grab this kit! And remember, once you have your kit, tag your creations with #mymonthlyhero if you share them on social media – we’d love to see them!
I hope you’re having a great weekend!
