Hello and welcome back to our week of Clearly Kelly previews! Today we are joined by Lexi Bridges, who’s created two fabulous projects with some of the new Clearly Kelly stamps — a Project Life spread and a mini layout. Here’s Lexi to tell you all about them!
“I love the versatility of these stamp sets! I can see them becoming a staple in the documenting of my everyday, whether in layout from or mini album. On this spread, I stamped everything from patterned paper, photos and even created a background by simply repeat stamping the same sentiment. I used ten different stamps, but the color scheme and repeating ink color keep it all cohesive.”
Supplies: Stamps – CL819 Kelly’s Daily Life (clear), LP372 Kelly’s Real Life (wood); Ink – Hero Arts; Paper, vellum, labels, wood veneer – Studio Calico December kit; Frame – Crate Paper; Heart sticker – American Crafts; Pen – Staedtler; Black tag – Ikea; Adhesive – American Crafts; Other- paper clip, tag, thread
“Having two little guys, I am always on the lookout for a stamp set that is boyish and cool. This is it. I gave the robot some metal dots and chipboard to make him stand out and added a few lighting bolts. I can see myself using this set over and over for documenting their everyday antics. I mean, you have to love a stamp set that includes lyrics from Styx and Salt-n-Pepa.”
Supplies: Stamps – CL815 Kelly’s Super Cool (clear); Ink – Hero Arts; Metal embellishment – Hero Arts; Paper, sticker, wood veneer tag, chipboard – Studio Calico December kit; Foam adhesive – American Crafts; Alphabet stickers – Elle’s Studio; Other – thread, staple
Here’s a look at some of the stamps used. If you’re wondering about sizes, the wood set measures 3″ x 3″ and the clear sets measure 3″ x 4″.
Big thanks to Lexi for sharing these awesome Clearly Kelly projects! We’ll be back tomorrow with more.
Have a great day!
