Holiday Peace

Today I’m sharing a card that uses one of my favorite techniques, chalkboard. It’s something that I never seem to tire of and it can easily work into holiday designs.

I started with a panel from the Midnight Mix Layering Papers pack and loaded up the Holiday Floral Background with VersaMark. TIP: make sure you hit your cardstock with an anti-static tool to keep the white embossing powder tidy.

I’m a big fan of bold sentiment and words. I inked up the Bold Peace with VersaMark and heat embossed it in white on a panel from the Foliage Mix Layering Papers. A bit of quick fussy cutting and I have adhered it to the main panel with foam adhesive squares. The embossed layer has been mounted on a Foliage Mix Layering panel.

I will be linking this up to the Holiday Cardmaking Challenge! Remember, you have through November 15th for a chance to win!
