The first official day of Fall is less than a week away. Football season. Crisp, cool mornings. Turning leaves. Pumpkin spice everything. And how about some seasonal stamping to go along with it? Sounds like the perfect way to spend a Fall afternoon to me!
Today’s card uses a very quick and simple coloring technique. I stamped leaf and acorn images from the Autumn clear set with Distress Inks and then painted over them with a wet brush. Since Distress Inks react with water, that is all that is needed for the inks to move and blend. How easy is that?! You can go back in and add shadows with extra ink mixed with water if you like. A few splatters of ink, a gold embossed die cut sentiment, and the card is complete!
Next up is a fun little treat bag that you could fill with all kinds of goodies. I took a plain kraft colored bag and added dots with Unicorn White Ink Dauber. The Trick or Treat Pumpkin was stamped with Butter Bar to Orange Soda Ombré ink, cut out and added to a tag. I love using the ombré ink pad here because it provides shading with little effort and minimal supplies.
Thanks for stopping by and happy (almost) Fall!
