Chibitronics Lights seem to be all the rage lately and just in time for Christmas! By incorporating a little light up element into your Holiday cards you can easily take your projects to the next level and have the recepient go WOW!
For my today’s project I decided to combine Chibi Lights and one of Kelly Purkey’s mini Christmas Stamps – Kelly’s Warm & Cozy. I thought it would fun to cut out the headlight on the stamped car image and replace it with a battery operated light.
I stamped adorable little Christmas car along with the Warm & Cozy sentiment in Intense Black ink onto a panel of white cardstock and colored the car image with my Copic markers. Next I carefully cut out the headlight using a craft knife, put together a simple circuit with a white light and adhered my car on top placing the light under the open headlight.
I also heat embossed a beautiful background using a Holiday Florals Bold Prints cling stamp in Copper embossing powder onto a panel of green cardstock and blended Forever Green Ink on top. To finish this card I added a bit of red and white bakers twine and adhered my panel onto an A2 top folding white card base.
