I love when I get to work with cute creature stamps, like the ones I am featuring today. These are three woodblock stamps called Winter Bunny, Winter Fox and Winter Bear that I used to create a card. Take a look:
I began by stamping the Candy Stripes Bold Prints background with Red Royal Mid-Tone Shadow Ink over a Punch card base (Blush Mixed Folded Cards). I used two sizes of Nesting Rectangle Infinity Dies to create two panels (Carnation and Shallows). I stamped the little creatures over the Shallows panel Pool Mixed Folded Cards with Intense Black Ink, leaving some space between them. I also put some adhesive at the lower part of the panel, and some coarse snow from my stash. Then, I layered the two panels over the card base.
After that, I stamped the creatures over Snow Layering Paper again. I colored the images with markers, and then I die cut the images into a tag using a Nesting Tag Die. I tilted the tag shape over the images on purpose because I wanted the tags to look a little bit skewed. I adhered the tags over the card from with foam tape, and them I thread them with a piece of twine. I twisted the twine a little bit and I affixed it with a couple of mini staples on both sides.
I stamped the sentiment from a set called Holiday Mittens with Intense Black Ink over a strip of Snow Layering Paper and after I adhered it over the card with foam tape, I added Glossy Accents over the letters. I finished off this card by adding some Crystal drops here and there.
Please don’t forget that that Holiday Cardmaking Challenge is currently open and you have until November 15 to submit your creations. Hero will be awarding FIVE $50 Hero Arts shopping sprees. You can find all of the details here.
