Floral Heart Stamp & Cut by Lia by Jayne Nelson for Hero Arts

By now, all of my holiday cards have been sent and as the new year approaches, I’ve been thinking of resolutions that I want to make for 2016. • Video: Non-traditional Valentines

    Non-traditional Valentines by Clare Prezzia

Today I get to share with you some not-so-Valentine-ish cards using some Valentine stamps – in a video!

I started both cards out by covering the card base with Versamark (watch the video for my tips on this part!), then going over with clear sparkle embossing powder. If you don’t have glitter embossing powder, you can make your own by simply mixing some regular embossing powder with ultra fine glitter! I definitely recommend the ultra fine glitter, as larger glitter will more likely melt and not look so pretty. ;)

  • Happy Hanukkah

    Hanukkah Cards 2

Today’s post is for all of our friends celebrating Hanukkah this week! I created this quick and easy set of cards by carrying this combination throughout – Snow Layering Paper, Mint Julep To Emerald Green ombre ink and the Happy Hanukkah woodblock set. I love how this set contains so many of the traditional icons of Hanukkah – the Star of David, a menorah, a dreidel and even a little jelly donut (called a sufganiyot). I enjoyed throwing the tiny solid Star of David around like confetti on my cards!
